Dearest Folks, Fans, y Familia,

I've been slammed, but in a good way as it means I can provide for my family. Here's some forthcoming highlights:

We're doing a major Cinco de Mayo, Spanish for May 5, event in Austin this Sunday evening at the Bob Bullock State History Museum at MLK and Congress near the Capitol. In June Kurt Baumer and I get to treat our wives to a working vacation from Phoenix to Sedona to Flagstaff in Arizona. Congratulations to John Arthur Martinez for his 3 Texas Music Awards nominations! He has been nominated for Song of the Year with "Tennessee Left Texas," Entertainer of the Year, for the 2nd straight year, (along with his good friend Mike Blakely, congrats Mike!) and for Popular Cover of the Year with his version of Merle Haggards "Play Me Back Home."
