First of all, a big thanks to Alan Jackson for recording "Seguro Que Hell Yes"--I just deposited my first royalty check courtesy of Alan! It's part of Alan Jackson's Box Set.

Spring has brought many highlights indeed. I just completed a film shoot in Johnson City, TX for a short film called I Miss You Already by John Dyer. The film will feature my music, "From a Table Made For Two," and "San Antonio Woman," both co-written with the late Kent Finlay, "Tennessee Left Texas," cowritten with Rick Bussey, Loneliest Star in Texas, cowritten with Mike Blakely and my vocals on two old standards, "I Miss You Already," the title track, and "Pop a Top."

In addition, I'll be completing two videos soon of songs from my forthcoming album. A video by Amy Lesco-Reid of "This Is America (I've Got Your Six)" will be completed by Memorial Weekend as we hope to encourage efforts to curtail the unusually high suicide rate of returning veterans. And, "You Were That Oak" will be shot by John Dyer, in part at Hondo's on Main in Fredericksburg, Texas and also at Burnet County ranchette owned by one of my fans.

I've got shows planned for Arizona, Montana, Washington and New Hampshire this year. Please keep an eye on the calendar! I know there's a lot to digest here. I'll tell you the rest of the story soon! --jam
